Digital Edge to Edge

I exclusively offer digital edge to edge (E2E) quilting. This means that the quilting will be a single pattern left to right, top to bottom.

Pantographs

Check out the Pantographs Page to view my current library.

If you know exactly what you want and I don’t have it, let’s talk about getting it! I would love to go halfsies with you to get you that perfect pantograph.

Square Inch Price

Rates are calculated at price per square inch.

I charge 2.5 cents or 3.0 cents per square inch depending on the complexity of the pantograph design or the density of the quilting. Most designs can be scaled up for looser quilting or scaled down for denser quilting; which can impact the pricing. During our planning process I’m happy to help you make a decision and land a price point prior to starting the project.

Using 2.5 cents; if your quilt measures 60” by 80” it would cost $120.00

60” x 80” = 4,800 square inches

4,800 x .025 = $120.00

This does not include taxes, shipping, and any other charges.

My quilting minimum is $50 per quilt.

Thread

My goal is to highlight your piecing and fabric choices; my personal style is to pick a thread color that will blend nicely with your top.

Want a specific color on the top that really POPS? No worries! This is your quilt and I want to bring all your quilty dreams to life <3.

Batting

Batting needs to be 3 inches larger than your quilt top on all sides for a total of 6 additional inches to the width and height of your quilt.

I carry Quilter’s Dream Batting for purchase. Check out the Batting and Quilt Prep Page to learn a little more about batting options, what I have in stock, and the cost.

I’m also happy to use a high-quality batting from you.

Backing

Backing needs to be a minimum of 4 inches larger than your quilt on all sides for a total of 8 additional inches to the width and height of your quilt.

Horizontal seems are highly recommended, press your seams open, and (last but not least) square your backing.

For more information, check out the page on how to prep your quilt for longarming.

Photographs

You’ll receive high resolution, polished, and edited finished photos of your beautiful quilt; ready to share with your friends, family, and even social media.

Yes! All included in the service; because everyone loves a glorious quilt photo.

Trimming Services

I do offer trimming services on most quilts. In some rare cases, I will decline to trim a quilt if the quilt is wonky.

It happens to the best of us; trust me, I know. I wish I took a picture if a baby quilt I made. I don’t know what happened but the middle was MUCH wider than the top and bottom. I had to trim off at least 2 inches from each side to make it look even close to “square”. LOL

Costs to Trim:

Under 5,000 square inches - $10

Over 5,000 square inches - $15

Over 10,000 square inches - $20

When I trim your quilt, I will follow the edges of the quilt as closely as possible. This means that your quilt may not be exactly the same length on all the sides or that the corners are perfectly 90 degrees. I actually love that about quilts, they are perfect in the most imperfect ways.
